The Challenge
We were losing deals in our emails because we were manually handling everything.
  • As they’ve continued to scale, Moxxie realized they need a standardized system to manage applications from founders, track demographic data, and much more.
  • But out-of-the-box solutions are either too cumbersome to tailor for a VCs needs or building a custom solution would take too much time away from their core function: investing in founders.
The Action Steps
We wanted an automated way to collect structured data and maintain visibility of our pipeline.

Moxxie approached Calm Company Fund’s no code studio for help.

  • First, we reviewed their goals, their needs, and their tech stack to ensure our solution would integrate well with their workflows.
  • Then we built solutions to automatically categorize and add inbound deals in their inbox that were either direct or referrals to their Affinity account.
  • Finally, we implemented a founder application form on their website that automatically adds all inbound pitches straight to their Affinity account with all the right data.
The Results

At the end of our engagement together, the Moxxie team can now:

  • Tag any inbound deal as “Active” or “Passed” in their email inbox, with the deal being automatically added to Affinity with the correct status and data.
  • Refer any founder that wishes to apply for investment to their website pitch form, with every submission automatically added to Affinity with the correct status and information.
  • Save hours of work as they no longer need to add or create new inbound deals in Affinity manually.
  • Have complete visibility over the entire deal flow pipeline.
  • Compute metrics on how every deal source is performing.

We start every engagement with an intro call with our team to make sure it’s a good fit for all parties.

We’ll explore your needs, your stack's tools, timelines, and a bit more to fully understand your business.

We also love it when clients share their screens to show how you currently are solving your problems! It’s not necessary but it helps our team identify solutions faster.

From there, we’ll confirm details via email, ending with a contract to get started right away.

We also include a menu of suggested add-ons to take the core product to the next level.

During projects, we’re happy to align to your needs (e.g., joining your team’s workspace in Slack, chatting via emails, etc.) to you abreast of progress and questions we may have.
